Announcements for July 2008

•   This year’s Vacation Bible School will take place this week: July 7th—11th from 9 am to12 noon each day. Children ages 5-11 are welcome and older children can be helpers. Please sign up outside the Chapel.
  
  
•   Your Ministry Opportunity! Anyone with a servant’s heart (or the desire to grow one) interested in becoming a Lector, Intercessor, Usher or Welcomer, please call the Parish Office. "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." --- Galatians 6:9,10 KJV
  
  
  
•   Tuesday evenings at Trinity – Join us Tuesdays, at 7 pm in the Chapel to pray and praise together. The 1st Tuesday of each month will be “SPaM” (Songs of Praise and Meditation) and the other Tuesday evenings in each month will be a Share and Prayer group. •  Our Celebrant, The Rev. Don Morris, will be with us on a regular basis on Thursdays and Sundays until we have selected a Priest-In-Partnership. He will be available in the Rector’s office after the Thursday morning Eucharist as needed. He will also be the celebrant at all three services on Sundays.
  
  
•  Study of the Propers continues at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Brinkerhoff Room, led by The Rev. Joe Hauser.
  
  
•   Intercession List – We request that when placing a person’s name on the Intercession List, to be prayed for in church, that you specify the number of weeks this is to be done. We will begin to keep a name on the list for a period of two weeks unless a specific situation dictates otherwise. Also, if your birthday or anniversary hasn’t been read from the Intercession List and you’d like it to be, please call the office with the information.
  
  
  
•   Altar Flowers are given to glorify God and beautify our worship. These flowers can help us to commemorate special times in our lives (perhaps an anniversary, graduation, or promotion), or they can stand as a memorial to the lives of our departed loved ones. When you contribute to the Sunday altar flowers, your Trinity family is able to share in your joy or to help remember with you. Please contact Betsy Morgan at 775-5387, or call the office to join in this ministry.
  
  
•   Until further notice, there will be no Wednesday noontime Eucharist. The Thursday morning Healing Eucharist will take place as regularly scheduled.
  
  
  
•   Anyone willing/able to help in transporting people to Church or to an appointment please call Carol Brownson at 775-6903 or Holly in the Parish office at 775-4368. Requests for transportation must be made by Thursday at noon in order to coordinate rides for Sunday.
