Rev. Liz Skaleski was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut.  She was ordained a deacon at Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford on September 9, 2009.  She began her diaconal ministry at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stamford CT. and then was assigned to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fairfield, CT and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Riverside, CT.

Liz holds a degree in music performance and established Harris Flute Studio in CT, where she taught flute and piccolo for thirty years.  She is now semi-retired and 3 years ago moved to Danby, VT with her husband, Bob, and son, Elliot.  This decision was partly to seek and find a quiet, less hectic place to call home.  The Skaleski’s have two daughters, Anna and Emily who live in Florida.  They share their Danby farm house with two rescue dogs, Meloni and Molly, and our 21-year-old cat, Harry.

Rev. Skaleski hopes to inspire, empower, and strengthen ministries within the church and neighborhood.  She is interested in building community by inviting others to trust God and share their gifts for ministry. She loves to start church vegetable gardens to support local food banks, and is interested in healing ministry.

Liz is an avid gardener, animal lover and enjoys cooking!
